Twins

Well, here they are, our six sets of twin baby bearded dragons....Yep, that's SIX !!!....Imagine this, you decide to come home for lunch one day to check on your eggs. You look in your incubator to find an egg with one baby almost all the way out and another little head peeking through right next to it....Well, only May 13, 2004, this is what happened to me.....I then looked at the other eggs in the clutch and saw yet another egg with two heads, but instead of them coming out of the same end of the egg , these guys were pipping out of different ends...and believe it or not, the following day the third set of twins was hatching....And then almost 1 1/2 weeks later, the next two sets of twins were born. Unfortunately we lost one baby dragon in set #4 just a few days after birth, and we lost Twin A in set #2 as well..

From what we have heard...this is a extremely rare occurance, and almost unheard of in the bearded dragon world...
